Ellen...

Today I tell you about one of my favourite shows. The show calls 'Ellen' and actually you can't watch it in Germany, so I'm watching at youtube.
The show gets produced in California at the 'Warner brothers' studios. The moderator is Ellen DeGeneres. She is just great I love her way of interviewing celebrities and her kind of humour.

Ellen DeGeneres was born 1958 in New Orleans where she grew up too. 1976 she started studying at university (science for communication.). Her career started as a stand-up comedian. In 2001 she became the moderator of Ellen show. Now she is famous all around the country. Her aim is to help people in bad circumstances for example injured people. Also she supports people who done something good and are daily life heros. Ellen is known for making people laugh even when they aren't happy. In her early years as a moderator she started outing herself as a lesbian. On the 16th August 2008 she married her longtime girlfriend Portia Rossi (actress).

These is quote about her aim to support people in bad circumstances:

'I've been trying to live a kinder, more compassionate life, and I've learned a lot of things along the way. It's not hard to do -- you just need to know how! There is so much that you can do -- from helping to stop bullying in schools, to having compassion for all living things. '

Ellen is a vegan, her view about becoming a vegan:

'I personally chose to go vegan because I educated myself on animal cruelty. Suddenly, I realized that what was on my plate were living things, with feelings. And I just couldn't disconnect myself from it any longer. I read books like "Diet for a New America" and saw documentaries like "Earthlings" and "Meet your Meat," and it became an easy choice for me. '

The best thing about the show is Ellen making fun about movies and other shows like 'The Voice'. She takes originally movie scenes and plays like she is a part of the movie =) please watch it, it's hilarious ( The best one is the first link).

The voice:

I like Ellen show because, it's always funny. It isn't a typical show. There are so many ways the show makes me laugh either there are funny games or they scaring people. But the show is serious too and it's nice to see the social efforts of Ellen, she tries to make the world a little bit better.

Alone at the station in hanau....

Did you heard about that story? I've heard about that sad story some weeks ago at the radio. Isn't it terrible?

When I read that article a question came to my mind, How can you leave a child alone at a big station? I think that's heedless. The boy is only 3 years old.
But there is this other side in my mind. Isn't it better to leave a child alone somewhere where people can help the child, than let the child die of starvation or even more kill a child? my opinion is that you can not adjudge the parents before you don't know the reason why they left there child alone. But then there is this helpless child who doesn't speak a word in German. The boy is only 3 years old and can not understand the situation he is in. I've heard that Amir only can say 2 words in german 'love mummy' (liebe Mama) isn't that sad? Maybe his mum left him and said 'I will always love you' you never know. I don't know if it's good when they would find the parents of the boy because I'm sure they not getting their boy back, he will stay at the foster family but when he would see his parents he wouldn't have the chance to live a normal childhood. Maybe it's a good point that he is still so young . What I don't want to say is that it's better when the boy grows up without a mummy and daddy, but maybe a foster family will give him a better life and future.

Actually it's a very hard topic and I'm not sure what I should think about this case. My wish is that Amir gets what he wants and that he is able to live a 'normal' life. Maybe they don't find the parents but I hope that Amir gets ones the chance to talk to his real parents and gets the answer why the left him alone in a country where he wasn't able to speak a word the people, like the police, understand.

Right now I found that article, maybe they found his parents:

In the background you see the station in hanau where the parents left the little boy.

Adidas...

One time we (our class) watched a movie about the enterprise adidas. I remembered this movie some days ago, there is an interesting story behind it I want to tell you.

18th August, 1949 the shoemakers master Adolf Dassler founded adidas.
Adidas is sportfashion most known for footballshirts, wintersport fashion, shoes ….
With the profit of the world champion's title by the German national team with the football world championship in 1954 in Bern, the football boots from adidas became known worldwide.

The shoes were so special because the german team used Adi ( like his friends called him) Dasslers football boots with which the tunnels could be exchanged. At the same time it was a revolution.
The enterprise 'puma' of Dasslers brother Rudolf, was long time one of the most sharp competitors of sports shoes. When the brothers were younger they've worked together and founded an enterprise, but after some short time there was a big fight between both brothers and their families.

Both companies produced the whole range in sports shoes for a huge number of sports. Adidas produced increasingly also other sports articles, at first footballs, from 1967 also sports clothings. 1978 Adi Dassler passed away but the enterprise which was meanwhile a world market leader for sports article was continued by his family. In 1990 the family Dassler sold 80 percent participation in the French enterpriser Bernard Tapie.

In 2006 there was a big discussion about adidas supports child labour, because they producing south asia.

Maybe you now the most famous slogans of adidas "Adidas makes you better." and "Impossible is nothing." ( which actually I think isn't  right english grammar ,shouldn't it say  ' Nothing is Impossible' ?)

Adi Dassler (1954)

My second home...

Today I want to talk with you about my second home. It's a place where I go to every week and I enjoy being there.

It's my church calls 'Stadtmission Arheilgen'. It's not just a church, no , it's the place my friends and I spend a lot of time. I love being there.
My parents went to that church even when they were young. So I was born into my church. I remember spending time at children service at teen group ec. . Most of the time I was happy going to church. I got baptised 2009 and seeing the whole church sitting in front of me and joining my special day was an incredible feeling.
I started giving children service some years ago and I still kept doing it. It's nice to be a part of children life and see them growing up, see their faith is becoming stronger and stronger. Most of my friends are from church. Actually the most are older than I am, because there is no one in my age, but I enjoying having older friends. They've already went through things like ABI and driving licence, so I can ask them for some advices, everytime.
Sunday service is most time really nice. Sometimes I'm a part of a band and spend my time singing on the stage, but most of the time I just enjoy listen to the preacher and relax . I don't know if you got a second home but I can say my second home is my church, there are the people who are an important part of my life and the nice thing is there is always someone to talk to.
Right now we're having new rooms for youth groups ec. And I'm leading the painting-group, hope everything will be alright and the room dosen't look like a mess afterwards =)

Last time I painted (child of my children service) , but I think there is a big difference between facepainting and painting a wall =D

Tyler Ward

On Tuesday I spend some time with my sister at Frankfurt. We've go there to see one of our favourites artist Tyler Ward.
Tyler Ward is 22 years old and lives in Denver, USA. He is a singer and producer. The songwriter can play guitar, the drums and some piano and of course he's got a beautiful voice. In his studio in Denver he covers and writes songs. His aim is to support young musicians and give them the chance to establish in the worlds music business. Tyler Ward is known for a youtube-wonder. When he was around 16 years old he started recording some songs at his fathers home studio. He started to write songs in the age of 18 when his parents were separating. The music style he plays is pop/rock most of the time, but he really likes to do some hip-hop too. Most of his own written songs got the topic of course as most of you know 'Love'.
Actually I can't tell you anything about him, because he is keeping his private life secret. But I can tell you that he's got a really nice voice and a good way of making cover songs special. His concert was awesome, the only negative thing was my legs were hurting afterwards the concert, I couldn't even walk like a normal person ( I think I walked like a freaky chicken, but everyone got that type of walking afterwards). I've got a good advice for you: Listen to some of his songs you won't regret it, promise you =)
Hope you enjoying listen to him.

Here is one link. An interview with Tyler Ward and some pictures of his tour in Europe:

One of his many cover songs:

Act ually I would love to show you some of my pictures, but the sad thing is you can see anything =)

someone special...

Today I want to talk about a good friend of mine.

On Wednesday I'd talked to Nadine. She had no idea what to write about her blog so I said ' Write a blog about me and I'll write a blog about you'. So now I'm keeping my promise =)

I met Nadine the first time after I'd come back home from Scotland. She had been in our class already two weeks. I remember sawing her the first time, she was a pretty, lovely and open-hearted girl. Our friendship grew about the years. Nadine is such a good friend to talk to. The most thing I like about her is her funny kind of laughter. When she laughs she always starts crying and screaming, it's hilarious =D

We spend some time in Berlin and Norway together. Especially Norway was a nice trip. We sat in plane together and I said when she keeps her mouth open while starting she won't have the feeling her ears are blocked. She said: ' You're having me on!' and I answered 'no way =)'. Nadine trusted me, actually I talked rubbish and made fun of her. Now she figured it out and I've got a beautiful picture of her =)

But that's it what our friendship is about. We can laugh about each other, talk serious and spend some nice time together. Our same faith helps us in our daily life and in our friendship.

Hope you like my blog Nadine and sorry for telling the story ( The picture will be secret forever promise you =D ). Thank you for being such a good friend.

memories

Last day at school some of us talked about our childhood. We talked about movies, books and memories. After that conversation I recognized I had really blessed childhood. Not just my family was always there for me also friends at school. I would love to go back in my childhood and live every moment with an adult way of thinking. There are so many memories with friends and family but also I've forgot so many things, I would love to live them one more time. The sad thing is, I've no memories about my grandma who died when I was 4 years old. My sister always talks about her, that she was a lovely grandmother who always cooked for me and my sister, but I have no idea what she is talking about, I can't remember. Seeing pictures from old times is so hilarious, being such a small baby =) But there are really good things of becoming an adult. I wouldn't do the whole school work one more time , I'm happy leaving school next summer =D

Found that poem in the internet I think it describes my childhood quite good:

My childhood was fun,
tough and exciting.
My childhood was one
where there wasn't much fighting.
This was my childhood.

My childhood was filled
with family and friends.
My childhood was filled
with love that tied up loose ends.
This was my childhood.

My childhood came
with a grandfather that cared.
When he left me
I remembered all the times we shared.
This was my childhood.

My childhood was filled
                                                                     with fun in the hood,
and food that tasted like Campbell's,
                                                                      'Umm Umm Good! '
                                                                   This was my childhood.

                                                                 My childhood was filled
                                                               with lots of happy holidays.
                                                               Holidays that aren't
                                                              just the same nowadays.
                                                              This was my childhood.

                                                                   Now my childhood
has become nothing but memories,
But all the good times
will live on within me.
This was my childhood.

A drop in the ocean

This week was really hard because I had no idea for writing my blog. It took me ages to find a topic. So I asked Katja if she has an idea. While she spend some time yesterday at my house I finally found my topic, 'A drop in the ocean' a song written by Ron Pope. Katja and me played some guitar and she showed me how play 'a drop in the ocean'.
It's a really nice song. Ron Pope just plays some chords and emphasizes his beautiful voice.

Ron Pope
Ron Michael Pope was born in Georgia ( 23th July 1983 ). He grew up in Marietta, Georgia . His music success started with the song 'a drop in the ocean' not just in the US also international.

Here are the lyrics:

A Drop in the ocean a change in the weather
I was praying that you and me might end up together
It´s like a wishing for rain as I stand in the desert
But I'm holding you closer than most
Cause you are my heaven
I don´t wanna waste the weekend If you don´t love me, pretend
A few more hours then it´s time to go
as my train rolles down the eastcoast, I wonder how you keep warm
it's to late to cry, to broken to move on
and still I can´t let you be
Most nights I hardly sleep
don't seek what you don't need for me
It's just A Drop in the ocean, a change in the weather
I was praying that you and me might end up together
It´s like wishing for rain as I stand in the desert
But I'm holding you closer than most
Cause you are my heaven

Missplaced trust and old friends
never counting regrets by the grace of god
I do not rest at all
New England, there´s the leave change
the last excuse that I claim
I was a boy who loved a woman like a little girl
And still I can't let you be
Most nights I hardly sleep
Don´t seek what you don´t need for me
It's just A Drop in the ocean, a change in the weather
I was praying that you and me might end up together
It´s like wishing for rain as I stand in the desert
But I'm holding you closer than most
Cause you are my
Heaven doesn't seem far away anymore
Heaven doesn't seem far away
Heaven doesn't seem far away anymore
Heaven doesn't seem far away
A Drop in the ocean a change in the weather
I was praying that you and me might end up together
It´s like wishing for rain as I stand in the desert
But I'm holding you closer than most
Cause you are my heaven
You are my heaven

I never heard the song before and I really enjoy listen to the song. It's peaceful and nice written. The only thing I don't understand in the song is the part 'I was a boy who loved a woman like a little girl'
Loved a woman like a little girl? He is a boy I would understand the lyric when he would say 'like a little boy' because he is a boy. Maybe you have an idea what he wants to say with the part =).
Hope you like listen to the song and thank you Katja for giving me a favour ;-)

Drama group

Today I want to tell you about my last couple days.

As all of you know we've (drama group) had our performances of the 'Chinese wall'. It's an all year tradition that there is a performance each winter.
This year we've had a special year. Many of the members left and new ones came and joined our group. It was hard for us to teach the new ones and we spend so much time in school. I remember the last rehearsal, it was a catastrophe and I'm not lying.
Last Friday we started acting in front of the audience. I love dressing up and playing a new character, I love the feeling when you're near to going on stage. You don't know how the audience react and you're so excited.
This year I had to learn a lot of text I played a quite big character, but I was fine with it. The time passed and it was Sunday. The last performance was a really good one. In the beginning of the year I thought of leaving the group, cause next year I'll write my final exams. But while I was acting on stage I've got the feeling of joining the group next year too. It's a passion to play and act on stage, I love it. Drama group is the group where I spend time with my friends and do what I love to do.
So now I'm looking forward to next year. Thanks to all of your support, it was nice to see your faces while acting and hear you laugh ( always a funny moment ).

Hope you enjoyed it. I really do enjoyed it :)

My Sister

Today I would love to introduce you the most important person in my life.

It's my older sister Saskia (22). She is not just a sister, she is my best friend, the person I can come to every time. She was always there for me. Our relationship grew about the years. We had a really nice childhood together. I remember the days at school when I talked about my sister, she was my little idol. We love to talk to each other, laugh and sing together. I couldn't think of a life without my sibling.
About my sister, she is the most lovely person I know. Most time she is a happy person and her goal is to be a doctor, that's the reason why she studies medicine.
Me (3) and Saskia (5)
I think when you meet my sister, you see something special in her. I definitely saw that something special. She is a good person you can talk to, she is serious but also humours. We have the same kind humour what makes it easy to laugh together.
Me and my sister are completely different (in a good way) but I really enjoy we aren't the same.

A Very Special Sister

For many years we've shared  our lives
One rood we once lived under
Sometimes we laughed, sometimes we cried
Through winter storms and thunder
The younger years have faded fast
But through all times our friendship lasts
Our bond in life remains
As summer brings the happy times
The autumn winds will whisper
A closer friend I'd never find
Than the one I call my sister

Last summer
I think 'A very Special Sister' exactly shows my feelings towards my sister. Most of you would say this about your sister or brother I think but I really appreciate my, as I call her sometimes, 'Schwesterherz' =).

Magdalena Neuner

Today I want to talk with you about my favourite athlete.

Magdalena Neuner

Magdalena Neuner is a German biathlete and she is one of the best athlete in the whole world of biathlon. She started doing this sport when she was nine years old. From this moment she was one of the bests in her age all around Germany. She won all the competitions. Her career in the German national team started early when she arrived 18. One year later she won her first three World Championship Gold Medals (2007). Her success grew year to year. Now she has already 10 gold medals and 2 Olympic Golds. She is know for her high quality of skiing, only the shooting is not always good. Besides sport she lives in in a small village calls Wallgau where she grews up.
Neuner with her second Olympic Medal
while a competion (Oslo)

I really like her because she stayed normal while her success. Her private life is important to her, that's the reason why she finishs her career in March 2012. Magdalena Neuner, or Lena like her friends call her, want to live a life like everyone else. My favourite athlete is a sympathetic person with a great sense of humour and the most thing I like about her is that sport isn't the most important thing in her life.

The Undomestic Goddess

Today I want to tell you something about my favourite english book. It's a number one Bestseller in the world, called 'The Undomestic Goddess' of Sophie Kinsella. Sophie Kinsella is a writer and former financial journalist. Famous books of her are 'keep a secret?' and 'Remember me?'. Together with her husband and children she lives in the middle of London.
( Her official website: www.sophiekinsella.co.uk )
The book talks about Samantha a workaholic. She needs to slow down to fall in love in the middle of nowhere.

Samantha is a lawyer in London. Actually she don't know the word home and relaxing, the only thing she does is the whole time working in her little office in London city. Career is important to her, until one day she makes a big mistake, which change her thinking. After the mistake she takes any train and find herself in the middle of nowhere. She stops at an old, beautiful house where she wants to ask for direction. “She is mistaken for the interviewee housekeeper and finds herself being offered the job”, but actually she has no idea , how to handle an ironing board or how a wash machine works.

Does she fall in love with her new life? and Will her new employers find out about her past?

The book

Sophie Kinsella
I really do enjoy reading the book. There is a lot of ironic in the book and it's good written. If anyone wants to read it, I can give you my one for a certain time.

Best time of my life

Today I want to tell you why I chose the name Scotlandlover. Like the most of you know I spend 8 weeks in Great Britain almost 2 years ago. I will never forget this time.
The first 5 weeks I spend some time in Scotland with a friend of mine. We worked at an activity centre for young people. Most time I cooked or done some housekeeping. In the evening I often talked to my new friends (we are still in contact). It was really nice to experience a new language. The first week I was really nervous to talk English but after these few days I started speaking.
I've met my best friend Jenny, there. We often talk to each other by facebook and soon she'll come and visit me.
The other 3 weeks I spend in Leeds, England. I lived near the centre. My host parents called Melanie and Andrew. They are such a nice and friendly couple. We've done a lot of great things together like water-
skiing. I loved the day we spend time by the coast.

These 8 weeks quickly passed. The weeks away from home thought me self-reliance. Of course I missed my family but I learned standing on my own and enjoy friendship. Scotland was the best time of my life =)

I don't like Mondays

Gun rampage is a contemporary issue.

I wanted to talk about this topic because I listened to a song some weeks ago. This song tells about a gun rampage. I'm sure the most of you know the song 'I don't like Mondays'.

Geldolf a member of the group was inspired on Monday the 29th January 1979. On this Monday a sixteen year old girl called Brenda Ann Spencer shot through her window at pupils from the Grover Cleveland Elementary School in San Diego. She lived obverse the playground where the pupils played while they arrived for school. She killed the head teacher and the janitor from this elementary school who tried to protected the children. 8 little children and a police man were badly injured. She shot with a gun her dad bought her for Christmas.

While an interview at a radio station Geldolf heard about this dramatic story. The news about the gun rampage where send through a telex machine while he was interviewed.

Brenda Ann Spencer told the police ''I don't like Mondays. This livens up the day.'', thats the reason why she shot at the pupils.
She told the police also after they catch her 6 hours later:

There was no reason for it, and it was just a lot of fun. It was just like shooting ducks in a pond. the children looked like a herd of cows standing around, it was really easy pickings“

I tried to understood this girl but I couldn't and still can't. Brenda said few month before she done the gun rampage

"one of these mornings, you´re gonna look for me", "no one understands me", "you don´t have to wait very long to see what is going on with me"

She was confused when her parents were divorced, wanted to die, don't wanted to be that good lovely girl the whole time. Brenda can't remember the shooting but she know that she killed and injured people. Now Brenda Spencer feels guilty she killed two people she didn't know. Brenda Ann Spencer is still in prison till 2015.

I think it's important for us how we treat someone. Try to be nice to everyone or when you can not do this ignore them but never hurt them. All people who knew a gunman never expected they can do such a dramatic act. When you hear next time about a gun rampage, please also think about the gunman. They need the most help and of course the other ones too.
