Adidas...

One time we (our class) watched a movie about the enterprise adidas. I remembered this movie some days ago, there is an interesting story behind it I want to tell you.

18th August, 1949 the shoemakers master Adolf Dassler founded adidas.
Adidas is sportfashion most known for footballshirts, wintersport fashion, shoes ….
With the profit of the world champion's title by the German national team with the football world championship in 1954 in Bern, the football boots from adidas became known worldwide.

The shoes were so special because the german team used Adi ( like his friends called him) Dasslers football boots with which the tunnels could be exchanged. At the same time it was a revolution.
The enterprise 'puma' of Dasslers brother Rudolf, was long time one of the most sharp competitors of sports shoes. When the brothers were younger they've worked together and founded an enterprise, but after some short time there was a big fight between both brothers and their families.

Both companies produced the whole range in sports shoes for a huge number of sports. Adidas produced increasingly also other sports articles, at first footballs, from 1967 also sports clothings. 1978 Adi Dassler passed away but the enterprise which was meanwhile a world market leader for sports article was continued by his family. In 1990 the family Dassler sold 80 percent participation in the French enterpriser Bernard Tapie.

In 2006 there was a big discussion about adidas supports child labour, because they producing south asia.

Maybe you now the most famous slogans of adidas "Adidas makes you better." and "Impossible is nothing." ( which actually I think isn't  right english grammar ,shouldn't it say  ' Nothing is Impossible' ?)

My second home...

Today I want to talk with you about my second home. It's a place where I go to every week and I enjoy being there.

It's my church calls 'Stadtmission Arheilgen'. It's not just a church, no , it's the place my friends and I spend a lot of time. I love being there.
My parents went to that church even when they were young. So I was born into my church. I remember spending time at children service at teen group ec. . Most of the time I was happy going to church. I got baptised 2009 and seeing the whole church sitting in front of me and joining my special day was an incredible feeling.
I started giving children service some years ago and I still kept doing it. It's nice to be a part of children life and see them growing up, see their faith is becoming stronger and stronger. Most of my friends are from church. Actually the most are older than I am, because there is no one in my age, but I enjoying having older friends. They've already went through things like ABI and driving licence, so I can ask them for some advices, everytime.
Sunday service is most time really nice. Sometimes I'm a part of a band and spend my time singing on the stage, but most of the time I just enjoy listen to the preacher and relax . I don't know if you got a second home but I can say my second home is my church, there are the people who are an important part of my life and the nice thing is there is always someone to talk to.
Right now we're having new rooms for youth groups ec. And I'm leading the painting-group, hope everything will be alright and the room dosen't look like a mess afterwards =)

Last time I painted (child of my children service) , but I think there is a big difference between facepainting and painting a wall =D

Tyler Ward

On Tuesday I spend some time with my sister at Frankfurt. We've go there to see one of our favourites artist Tyler Ward.
Tyler Ward is 22 years old and lives in Denver, USA. He is a singer and producer. The songwriter can play guitar, the drums and some piano and of course he's got a beautiful voice. In his studio in Denver he covers and writes songs. His aim is to support young musicians and give them the chance to establish in the worlds music business. Tyler Ward is known for a youtube-wonder. When he was around 16 years old he started recording some songs at his fathers home studio. He started to write songs in the age of 18 when his parents were separating. The music style he plays is pop/rock most of the time, but he really likes to do some hip-hop too. Most of his own written songs got the topic of course as most of you know 'Love'.
Actually I can't tell you anything about him, because he is keeping his private life secret. But I can tell you that he's got a really nice voice and a good way of making cover songs special. His concert was awesome, the only negative thing was my legs were hurting afterwards the concert, I couldn't even walk like a normal person ( I think I walked like a freaky chicken, but everyone got that type of walking afterwards). I've got a good advice for you: Listen to some of his songs you won't regret it, promise you =)
Hope you enjoying listen to him.

Here is one link. An interview with Tyler Ward and some pictures of his tour in Europe:

Act ually I would love to show you some of my pictures, but the sad thing is you can see anything =)

someone special...

Today I want to talk about a good friend of mine.

On Wednesday I'd talked to Nadine. She had no idea what to write about her blog so I said ' Write a blog about me and I'll write a blog about you'. So now I'm keeping my promise =)

I met Nadine the first time after I'd come back home from Scotland. She had been in our class already two weeks. I remember sawing her the first time, she was a pretty, lovely and open-hearted girl. Our friendship grew about the years. Nadine is such a good friend to talk to. The most thing I like about her is her funny kind of laughter. When she laughs she always starts crying and screaming, it's hilarious =D

We spend some time in Berlin and Norway together. Especially Norway was a nice trip. We sat in plane together and I said when she keeps her mouth open while starting she won't have the feeling her ears are blocked. She said: ' You're having me on!' and I answered 'no way =)'. Nadine trusted me, actually I talked rubbish and made fun of her. Now she figured it out and I've got a beautiful picture of her =)

But that's it what our friendship is about. We can laugh about each other, talk serious and spend some nice time together. Our same faith helps us in our daily life and in our friendship.

Hope you like my blog Nadine and sorry for telling the story ( The picture will be secret forever promise you =D ). Thank you for being such a good friend.

memories

Last day at school some of us talked about our childhood. We talked about movies, books and memories. After that conversation I recognized I had really blessed childhood. Not just my family was always there for me also friends at school. I would love to go back in my childhood and live every moment with an adult way of thinking. There are so many memories with friends and family but also I've forgot so many things, I would love to live them one more time. The sad thing is, I've no memories about my grandma who died when I was 4 years old. My sister always talks about her, that she was a lovely grandmother who always cooked for me and my sister, but I have no idea what she is talking about, I can't remember. Seeing pictures from old times is so hilarious, being such a small baby =) But there are really good things of becoming an adult. I wouldn't do the whole school work one more time , I'm happy leaving school next summer =D

Found that poem in the internet I think it describes my childhood quite good:

My childhood was fun,
tough and exciting.
My childhood was one
where there wasn't much fighting.
This was my childhood.

My childhood was filled
with family and friends.
My childhood was filled
with love that tied up loose ends.
This was my childhood.

My childhood came
with a grandfather that cared.
When he left me
I remembered all the times we shared.
This was my childhood.

My childhood was filled
                                                                     with fun in the hood,
and food that tasted like Campbell's,
                                                                      'Umm Umm Good! '
                                                                   This was my childhood.

                                                                 My childhood was filled
                                                               with lots of happy holidays.
                                                               Holidays that aren't
                                                              just the same nowadays.
                                                              This was my childhood.

                                                                   Now my childhood
has become nothing but memories,
But all the good times
will live on within me.
This was my childhood.
