Alone at the station in hanau....

Did you heard about that story? I've heard about that sad story some weeks ago at the radio. Isn't it terrible?

When I read that article a question came to my mind, How can you leave a child alone at a big station? I think that's heedless. The boy is only 3 years old.
But there is this other side in my mind. Isn't it better to leave a child alone somewhere where people can help the child, than let the child die of starvation or even more kill a child? my opinion is that you can not adjudge the parents before you don't know the reason why they left there child alone. But then there is this helpless child who doesn't speak a word in German. The boy is only 3 years old and can not understand the situation he is in. I've heard that Amir only can say 2 words in german 'love mummy' (liebe Mama) isn't that sad? Maybe his mum left him and said 'I will always love you' you never know. I don't know if it's good when they would find the parents of the boy because I'm sure they not getting their boy back, he will stay at the foster family but when he would see his parents he wouldn't have the chance to live a normal childhood. Maybe it's a good point that he is still so young . What I don't want to say is that it's better when the boy grows up without a mummy and daddy, but maybe a foster family will give him a better life and future.

Actually it's a very hard topic and I'm not sure what I should think about this case. My wish is that Amir gets what he wants and that he is able to live a 'normal' life. Maybe they don't find the parents but I hope that Amir gets ones the chance to talk to his real parents and gets the answer why the left him alone in a country where he wasn't able to speak a word the people, like the police, understand.

Right now I found that article, maybe they found his parents:

In the background you see the station in hanau where the parents left the little boy.

  1. Woah what a story...that truly is sad :// and I'm sure this experience will have a big impact on his life, probably he's never going to have a "normal" life cuz even if they found his parents - as you said - they probably wouldn't get him back...

  2. Indeed - that is an aweful story! At some stories, you can only shake your head and wonder what's going on in some people's mind!
There are so many young children who have such a hard destiny ...

Even if the boy might get back into his very own family, this experience will always shape his life and certainly not for the better ...
